I grew up in a thriving artistic community, surrounded by leading craftspeople such as potters Dick Batterham and Mike Dodd, sculptor Pat Rae and my grandfather Donald Potter, also a sculptor and a former apprentice of Eric Gill.

I graduated from Wimbledon College of Art with a degree in sculpture and exhibitions at the ICA, Orleans House Gallery and Cannizaro Park under my belt. While I was a student, I formed an arts promotion company, Rebel Promotions, connecting businesses and artists for their mutual benefit. I also worked alongside eAbsinthe.com – helping to launch Absinthe, which had just been legalised in the UK – organising their promotional events and art exhibitions in a variety of clubs and venues around London.

Today, the majority of my work is for the TV and stills world, but I also design interiors – from bars to reception areas – as well as company identities and graphics. I have developed products, too, for instance working with leading British designer Tom Dixon by experimenting with a new plastics extruding machine to create unique homewares.

My career in TV and film began when I worked on a TV commercial for film director Vadim Jean. Over the past 10 years I have worked my way through the sets world as carpenter, painter, props maker, art director, scenic artist and production designer (and owe a debt of gratitude to Jon Self for letting me refine all my skills under his watchful eyes).

I have extensive contacts, lots of experience working with a wide variety of media, and pride myself on producing reliable, diverse and precise work for my clients.
